Kiddie CAts Classes: 5 Year Olds
Soaring
Our Soaring class is designed for older 4 year olds and young 5 year olds. This class will help grow your preschooler's coordination, agility, and body awareness. Also, little athletes will be introduced to the spring floor, the tramp0line, tumbling aids, and several basic skills on each apparatus. Kiddie CAts in this class will begin to learn fundamentals of cartwheels, forward rolls, and assisted hand stands. Our curriculum incorporates music and movement to teach very introductory gymnastics and yoga skills, to help build focus, strength, and body awareness.
Our Soaring class is 55 minutes in length, and will consist of stations, creative movement with music, yoga, instructor assisted skills games, and a visit to the treasure box.
Five-Stars
Our Five-Stars class is designed for 5 year old boys and girls who want to learn and master fundamental tumbling skills.
Students in this class will follow a hybrid curriculum combining skills taught in our FUNdamentals and Bronze Level Classes in the 180 Pro Tumble Academy while still incorporating creative movement and basic yoga skills to continue developing strength, coordination, and body awareness. Upon mastering foundational skills, students will learn the mechanics of a back handspring, and have the option of promoting into our Silver Level tumbling classes.
